3 Years!!

So Taylor and I are celebrating our Anniversary tomorrow!! We have known each other for over 10 years and happily married for 3 years. We will be adding a new little addition to our family this coming May and we couldn't be more excited! I can't wait to see Taylor as a Daddy. I know he will be great.
My first memory of Taylor was in Seminary Freshman year when he introduced himself as the new kid from Florida...I don't remember anything else he said except that he was wearing a multi-colored Hawaiian t-shirt and I thought to myself "man the style must be way different in Florida." As I have gotten to know Taylor, I realize he just has a style all his own. From pink pants to leather chaps so tight he couldn't sit down, I have grown to love all of Taylor's quirks. Here is a list of things I love about my husband.
He tells me I look good even when I know I don't.
He is great with all our nieces and nephews.
He knows a lot more about the scriptures than I do and teaches me a lot.
He is a much better cook than me.
He tolerates my picky taste in food.
While he has way more opinions on clothing than any man should, he is a great shopper.
He will watch any chick flick with me , but shh he would never admit that.
He hates roller coasters, but still goes on them with me with only minimal bribery.
He works hard at his job and sacrifices a lot for me.
He does anything to make me happy.

So here's to many more happy years!

Injuries and Camping in Seattle

So while we were camping in Washington, Taylor and his brother in law went on an 80 mile bike ride up Mt. St. Helens. The ride was crazy hilly, but Taylor was really excited for this ride. The boys were really happy when they made it to the top and mostly looking forward to a much easier ride downhill.... Apparently though Taylor was unaware that speed limits are not just for cars. Turns out when you take a sharp corner at 35 mph, it doesn't turn out so well. Luckily Taylor's helmet broke his fall. Taylor survived with a cut on his nose from his glasses and his ear was sliced open by the plastic part on his helmet....The helmet however was not so lucky. Hard to tell from this picture, but the helmet is just cracked all over. After travelling 20 mi to the nearest hospital, we decided we could patch Taylor up ourselves. This is how it turned out.... The rest of the camping trip was a lot of fun. We stayed in a cabin and since there were 10 babies under the age of 4, Taylor and I decided to set up camp in a tent outside.

Back to Blogging!

So I realize it has been a long time since I have posted anything, but I have decided to attempt this blogging thing again.
To sum up everything in a year would be difficult so I'll just recap the most recent stuff. We actually just moved to a 2 bdr apartment and we are loving the extra space! Last week we went on vacation and it was wonderful! We started off by going to Utah for a wedding and family reunion.
We had lots of fun playing with all our nieces and nephews. They absolutely love their Uncle Taylor.
I wonder why....he is just a really big kid :)
We also enjoyed our first trip to Cabella's.....don't be fooled by the look on Taylor's face, he is actually very excited. We then continued our adventures up in Seattle with Taylor's family. One of my favorite things we did was go to Forks, WA....if you don't know why that is cool then skip this next part and also try not to judge me.
We took a ferry over at like 6 in the morning and drove for 3.5 hours....Taylor was the best too! He let me be a 15 yr old girl for a day and didn't even complain. The drive over was absolutely gorgeous.
We did all the touristy stuff and it was so much fun. The beaches were my favorite part. This hike to Second Beach was so pretty. Also Taylor loved climbing on all the driftwood and I caught this video of him which I think is kinda funny.

We ended our journey in Port Angeles. This sticker made me laugh....

Kayaking in the LBC

So this week is like my short little 10 day summer vacation before school starts again. We got to hang out with Christie and Steve this weekend before they left on their cruise...can we say jealous! We had lots of fun and I just thought I'd share some of our pictures.

We went kayaking in Long Beach and saw some cool jellyfish.

Tink enjoyed standing at the front of the boat staring at all the seagulls.....

Tink did NOT enjoy when I threw her in the ocean.....

Hey so I thought this was kinda funny. This is purely for fun, it does not mean we are pregnant! :)

Camping in Seattle

So this post is extremely delayed and I have been informed that my blog has been slacking lately....so I decided to get with it and post some of our pics from our family reunion/camping trip with Taylor's family in Seattle.

We got to ride a ferry to the island where we camped. It was lots of fun and reminded me a lot of Grey's Anatomy :)

Here is the tent Taylor and I stayed in....I think the picture makes it look bigger than it actually was.

Taylor and I went on a bike ride into town. It was very "hill-ey" and we almost didn't make it. However the awesome helmets did help....

We had a great time making S'mores and sitting around the campfire!!
